Free Laptop Insurance, What’s The Catch?!
By DavePF | December 2, 2008
Some of us simply can bear to be parted from our beloved mobile computers and for many the laptop doubles up as a portable office, entertainment or gaming system and even our connection to our online community of friends and our favourite websites that give us information on the latest gig or must have gadget.
Unfortunately there are a lot of other people who are interested in your laptop too and laptop theft is very prevalent as is the risk of accidental damage.
Like most things in life we don’t often consider insuring our prized possessions until it is often to late but as the saying goes its no good closing the gate after the horse has bolted, so if your laptop is not insured now may be the time to start looking.
Throughout the UK there are a large number of websites that provide laptop computer insurance, but how many can provide you laptop protection for free?
Well we have found this ‘cheap laptop insurance‘ website that offers free laptop computer insurance. How does it work then?
If you choose to pay for 12 months you actually only have to pay for 10 months, thus receiving 2 months free laptop insurance! OK, so paying 10 months up front may seem expensive for some - in that case if you pay monthly you get 1 month free! So that’s 12 months for the price of 10 on pay annually or 1 month free on the monthly scheme!
And there really seems to be no catch, the prices for the policies are the same as other laptop insurance providers and not raised to cover the free insurance period; indeed, for a laptop priced up to £1000 your laptop insurance will only cost you £5 per month.
If your laptop is not insured check it out now before it’s too late.
