Adsense is Dead….Its Official!

Is Google’s advertising empire and dominance in the pay per click marketing finally coming to an end?

Well that’s what some internet marketing experts will tell you pre-dominantly because their age old ways of earning an extra click or two by subtle positioning pictures next to links and or blending Google links with their own are finally being ousted, as Google once again appears to be going on the offensive in order to serve better results to end users.

Google it seems has been on the offensive for some time against spammy made for adsense sites but some of these sites have rich content and are a useful resource for the niches they deal in.

The new guidelines will only make some of the very well presented sites look spammier as adsense ads are made more distinguishable from the content. But in all fairness it can be argued and rightly so that blending links is merely deception which is why Google prefers you not to do it.

The unfortunate thing with all this though is with the sheer magnitude of the undeniable success of adsense means that Google is having trouble policing it’s own strategies and some of the biggest culprits, that is the directory sites that serve thousands of ads a day, appear to be simply getting away with it, while the smaller advertisers seem to take all the flak.

The question I ask is how come?

Ads should be clearly distinguishable from surrounding content???

Well check this link and see what you think (nothing personal guys)

As you can see these ads are clearly NOT.
